Ductile iron other fittings K Type Cap
Normally, sizes DN300 and smaller plugs are flat, and DN350 and larger are dished. This is subject to change depending on foundry equipment. Size from DN80 to DN1800.
Plugs can be furnished tapped for service connections or testing purposes.
Coating
All pipe fittings shall be delivered with an external coating and an internal lining.
The basic coating specification of pipes shall be with an external metallic zinc coating with finishing layer, and an internal lining of cement mortar.
The external coating of centrifugally cast ductile iron fittings shall comprise a layer of metallic zinc, covered by a finishing layer of a bituminous product or synthetic resin compatible with zinc.
